Quick Update

My boy is now FIVE months old! It seems he gets bigger everyday!

He has now eaten infant rice cereal, green beans, broccoli and spinach. He didn't seem too thrilled with the spinach, but we will try again. He thoroughly enjoyed everything else so far. We plan on giving him some more green veggies before moving on to others. I think next he will have asparagus.

We eat at least two different veggies with every dinner, so he better get used to them! Gigi loves her veggies and we have never had a problem with her eating them. We introduced them to her in the same way we are doing with J.

In other, related news, J will now sit for up for several minutes at a time. I haven't actually timed him, but I'm confident that it more than 3 minutes now with no wobbling. He will also reach for toys that are out in front of him, as well as pretty much anything else that catches his gaze.

He babbles a lot now. He has some mighty strong opinions! I will have to get some video of him "talking" uploaded here for you to hear - it's very cute.

He still has not rolled from back to belly, but he will push off with his legs when on his belly to scoot closer to a toy. And he continues to roll from belly to back as well.

He is still not sleeping through the night, but he is getting better at going back to sleep on his own when he wakes - though not always.

His next appointment will be in the beginning of May for his 6 month well visit. By then My Dad will be here for his annual visit! Can't wait!
